FERRAL
FERRAL was specifically designed as a “mulitalent” for use in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment process as an alternative to pure iron coagulants and polyaluminium chloride solutions. Hereby the aluminium components for the damping of bulking sludge were combined with iron components for the elimination of hydrogen sulphide to form a stable coagulant. Naturally, the coagulant meets all demands of COD reduction and elimination of phosphates. Another advantage of FERRAL is the fact that the sludge weight is significantly reduced compared to the use of pure iron coagulants.
FERRAL provides an ideal year-round use of prevention of seasonal bulking sludge problems and to the highly corrosive hydrogen sulphide problem. Thus considerable savings of treatment costs are possible.
