Aluminium sulphate

The aluminium sulphate produced by Feralco Deutschland GmbH in Nienburg/Weser is regularly examined by an accredited laboratory according to the purity requirements of EN 878 and the XXXVI recommendation of the BfR.

The purity requirements of DIN EN 878 (products used for treatment of water intended for human consumption – aluminium sulphate, type 1, iron-free) are complied. In addition, the aluminium sulphate in accordance with the recommendation XXXVI of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) corresponds to the provisions of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB).

Furthermore, the solid aluminium sulphate in powder form is also available in pharmaceutical grade under the requirements of United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur.) and British Pharmacopeia (BP) as well as in food grade in accordance with the Regulation on requirements for additives and marketing of additives for technological purposes (ZVerkV) in conjunction with the EC Directive 2008/84/EC.

Polyaluminium chloride solutions

The polyaluminium chloride solutions meet the requirements of European Standard DIN EN 883 (Products used for treatment of water intended for human consumption – Polyaluminium chloride hydroxide and Polyaluminium chloride hydroxide sulphate, type 1). In addition, they meet the provisions of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB) in accordance with recommendation XXXVI of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).

The aluminium chloride solutions meet the requirements of European Standard DIN EN 881 (Products used for treatment of water intended for human consumption – aluminium chloride (monomer), aluminium hydroxide chloride (monomer) and aluminium hydroxide chloride sulphate (monomer), type 1). In addition, they meet the provisions of the Food and Feed Code (LFGB) in accordance with recommendation XXXVI of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR).
