Mine & Quarry Wastewater Treatment

Periods of high rainfall in quarries and open cast mines can cause problems when run-off water from the site is discharged to local watercourses. Wastewaters high in suspended solids and organic colour  are generally captured in lagoons. AlumBloc is aluminium sulphate  slab and is an effective method of treatment and automatic dose control. When rainfall is high and flow is high, AlumBloc dissolves faster which coagulates the particles to promote settlement. In dry weather, the product remains in place until rainfall re-commences.
